These treatments take place in our community room in a reclining chair alongside other patients. Community acupuncture is effective for pain, headaches, neuropathy, seasonal allergies, colds and flus, stress, digestive issues, menstrual issues, chronic inflammatory conditions, and continued maintenance of any symptom. These treatments are an affordable option to allow for multiple treatments per week.
$40 + cost of herbs
We are big advocates of herbal medicine and its efficacy in balancing the body’s systems and underlying disease patterns. An herbal medicine regimen allows for an individualized treatment that is a part of the patient’s daily routine, helping to speed up the healing process of most conditions while quickly reducing external symptoms. A week's worth of a granular formula, similar to instant coffee, is mixed in our clinic and dispensed on site. A follow-up visit with your provider is recommended to track your progress and to make adjustments to your formula as your condition improves.
These treatments are held in a private room allowing for more one-on-one time with your acupuncturist. Private acupuncture is most often utilized for more severe health issues or acute pain conditions where access to the back, hips or shoulders is necessary. A variety of additional modalities can be used which are not available in the community setting, including essential oils, cupping, moxabustion (a type of heat-therapy) and heat lamps.
